The Construction/Renovations industry that we operate in entails dealing with people of various skilled worker trades such as Painters, Drywallers, Roofers, Tilers, Framers etc. A Project Manager needs to work with various such trades to bid for and complete awarded jobs. A Project Manager's assistant will help him complete these tasks outlined as follows:

Core Responsibilities:

As advised by the PM, the Project Manager Assistant/ Admin. would

  • Communicate and follow up with clients about specific projects, the project status or specific issues
  • Prepare written estimates for clients based on labor, materials, equipment and other expenses
  • Coordinate with technicians/sub-trades to evaluate progress and to respond to customers’ concerns or questions
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for pricing on materials/services required
  • Creating (draft) work orders for Operations
  • Responsible for contacting sub-trades as well as sourcing new sub-trades when required
  • Ensuring required documentation is compiled for every project

 Qualifications & Skills for the Project Manager Assistant / Admin.

- Experience/ knowledge of the Construction Industry is an asset but not required

- Ability to follow directions and take initiative when required

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Highly motivated and detail oriented. Will work independently for a fair amount of time.

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with changes in a positive manner

- MS Office proficiency

- Proficient in English - written & spoken

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
