This positions primary responsibility is to support all of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine's (NOSM) community-based programs, learners, and stakeholders.

Reporting to the Manager of Education, Organizational Development and Talent Management; this position fulfills day-to-day administrative functions and all reporting requirements of NOSM and the Local Education Group (LEG).

  •  A college Diploma in administrative/business from a recognized post-secondary institute with Canadian accreditation required
  • Exceptional organizational, administrative, and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize multiple needs concurrently
  • Excellent interpersonal and client relations skills with exceptional ability to judge when issues need to be referred to NOSM for resolution
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suites
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of business accounting
  • Strong understanding of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine and local community health care organizations
  • Medical terminology an asset
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of progressively responsible administration experience
