Accountant / Office Manager Langley 2158843

Our client, a well establish overhead door company is looking for a proactive Accountant/ Office Manager for their Langley location.

They are looking for some one who can become a critical part of the company management team.

 

Accountant responsibilities

You will oversee and lead general accounting operations using Quickbooks and verify financial transactions

Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances

Prepare financial statements

Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses

Maintain and reconcile fixed assets schedules

Lead and monitor payroll policies

Produce error free accounting reports and present their results

Analyze financial information and summarize financial status

Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures

Manage and help with payables and receivables

Work with management on budget and financial analysis and goal setting

Perform month and year end close out process

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies (payment terms, receivables, payables, invoicing, purchasing, order entry, inventory etc.)

 

 

Office Manager responsibilities

Manage and lead all office administrative staff

Plan, assign and review office administrative staff’s work ?

Design and implement office policies and procedures

Organize office operations and procedures

Assist with HR and management to maintain policies

Manage relationships with vendors, service providers and landlord, ensuring all items are invoiced and paid on time

Ensure top performance of office staff by providing strong coaching and guidance

Participate actively in planning and execution of company events

 

Are you the leader they are looking?

 

You have  at least 3 years previous experience in this dual role

You will be an experienced Accountant with Extensive Quickbooks knowledge, Excel, and Word are key.

You will have a degree or diploma from a recognized Canadian school or working toward your designation.

Excellent English communication skills.

The company offers aa starting salary range of $60,000- $70,000
