Inventory Control Clerk

 

We are looking for a resourceful Inventory Control Clerk for our Kitchener branch located on Shirley Drive.

The Inventory Control Clerk maintains and monitors inventory levels including reconciling stock counts to computer reports and initiates actions to replenish stock.

 

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintaining current inventory levels, including reconciling stock counts to computer reports.
  • Initiate action to replenish stock by processing purchase orders and other related paperwork,
  • Inspect shipments for accuracy and resolving discrepancies between purchases orders and what was received.
  • Approve invoices for payment.
  • Process and documenting returns.
  • Handle cash and other payment vouchers
  • Work face-to-face with customers and answering phones.

Qualifications

  • Have 2 years warehouse inventory control experience.
  • Have data base management skills.
  • Can analyze data and resolve issues.
  • Are organized, detail oriented, reliable and possesses initiative to work independently.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and Managers.
  • Are willing to support warehouse with other duties that may be assigned.
