Bookkeeper / Accountant - Hybrid - Quickbooks Online

We are a small technology / recruitment company of about 30 people looking to hire a Bookkeeper / Accountant who will work directly with the Owner / President to complete all bookkeeping and accounting functions.

In this role you will complete all aspects of accounting for the company including AP, AR, Payroll, calculating commissions, government remittances, managing the benefits program, office administration, financial statements, bank rec's, full monthly financial reporting and analytics , HR etc. Our company works in a QUICKBOOKS ONLINE environment.

We are located in Mississauga near the intersections of Dixie and Derry Road.

This is a Full-Time role running 5 days a week from Monday to Friday.  This can be a hybrid role where you work 3 days in office and 2 from home.

You must own this position, there is no on else. You are the Bookkeeper / Accountant.

 

You must be:

  • Have at least 3 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience 
  • Posses excellent bookkeeping /accounting skills
  • Able to do correct accurate general journal and general ledger entries
  • be able to do payroll for 20+ staff
  • Do monthly payroll source deduction and payroll remitances
  • Do monthly HST reporting and remitances
  • Be very proficient with Quickbooks Online
  • Strong Report Builder
  • Strong with Excel and Word
  • Accurate
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ultra Reliable
  • Able to maintain confidential information
  • Ability to deal with the bank, vendors and clients
  • Able to  perform collection functions diplomatically
  • A good multi-tasker
  • MUST speak CLEAR, FLUENT ENGLISH as you will be dealing with clients both in Canada and the USA.
