The Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the support of our enterprise applications and coordinating support from our internal resources, package vendors and consultants. Enterprise applications consist of core applications supporting Sales, CMMS, Finance, Human Resources, Woodlands and Safety and Environment. They are also responsible for carrying out assigned duties to deal with incident root cause analysis, requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, and testing changes for the applications.

 

The Senior Business Systems Analyst provides expertise and direction on how best to use information technology to meet their business objectives, to implement the appropriate business processes, as well as issue resolution and reporting utilizing system capabilities in an effective manner.

 

The Senior Business Systems Analyst provides leadership in the implementation of change across the organization. They also provide mentoring and guidance on business analysis best practices and participate in the maintenance of our business analysis and process mapping guidelines and best practices.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7 or more years of customer service and systems analysis experience in an analyst role or equivalent 
  • Demonstrated ability of ITIL Procedures, including Incident, Problem and Change Management 
  • Demonstrated ability of client/customer support in a medium to large business 
  • Broad based business skills and acumen 
  • Sound understanding of business concepts and processes together with technical systems experience 
  • Demonstrated ability to advocate, propose, negotiate, document and present approaches and solutions 
  • Experience with a variety of techniques for gathering and documenting requirements such as, process maps, use cases, system flow diagrams, and entity relationship diagrams 
  • Experience with finance, work management, inventory, order to cash and customer relationship processes 
  • Experience with ERP technologies such as Microsoft Dynamics, JDE or SAP
