We distribute and market essential products such as rice, coconut milk & noodles, health products such as herbal tea & cough syrup and lifestyle products such as snacks & drinks. With a large portfolio, we are recognized as a reliable supplier to hundreds of stores across Canada. The individual performing this full-time role will be the point-of contact for the assigned national and/or regional chain stores and will be responsible for sales performance with them. The position reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and will be based out of our Location in Markham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate as the primary point of contact for the stakeholders in the assigned Key Accounts-approx 5 accounts
- Monitor performance of the Accounts against key metrics (growth, mix, new customer additions etc.)
- Achieve the desired sales targets for the Accounts in line with company objectives
- Build trusting relationship with the stakeholders in the Key Accounts through initiative & responsiveness
- Educate Accounts about products & provide them guidance to enhance revenues & productivity
- Execute plans to improve representation, performance, and profitability within the Accounts
- Manage entire sales cycle (product pitch, merchandising, in-store displays, flyer inclusion, sales, payment collection)
- Observe competition & market trends and provide constructive feedback to management
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in both English
- Ability to speak Mandarin is an asset but not mandatory
- Undergraduate degree
- Experience in sales or key account management
- Experience in food business would be desirable but not mandatory
- Good communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data
- Should be self-motivated and have sense of urgency
