Warehouse Clerk

Our company is a leading organic and natural products company with operations in North America, Europe and India.  We provide consumers with superior food and personal care products for a healthier way of life.  We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Warehouse Clerk. 

 

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for accepting orders, organizing, and distributing goods and products within the warehouse center.  They assist the distribution manager in the completion of administrative and clerical duties. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Provide direction and support to order pickers, drivers, and 3PL partners
  • Book delivery appointments with customers as required
  • Schedule and liaison with carrier partners to ensure the timely pickup and delivery of sales orders, transfers, and purchase orders within the specified transit matrix
  • Ensure specific customer requirements are met and be familiar with all vendor compliance manuals and SOP’s
  • Work closely with manufacturing and customer service to facilitate strong communication and coordination required to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Be fluent in all relevant functions of the Warehouse Management System, including, order processing, inventory and order queries and analysis, transaction and order history, inventory adjustment, and cycle counting
  • Be functional in all customer web platforms for order processing, appointment booking, and order monitoring
  • Work with Banyon and customer portals for EDI and ASN processing.
  • Be familiar with all QC disciplines and requirements regarding order processing and warehouse SOP compliance
  • Order, maintain, and reconcile CHEP program, including monthly invoices and audits as required
  • Maintain all required logs, including but not limited to environmental, vacation, payroll, and training
  • Edit and submit weekly and biweekly punch clock and attendance reports in ADP EZ-Labour and submit to HR in a timely manner
  • Order all stationary and office supplies as required
  • Coordinate all service repairs required for office equipment
  • Maintain NAFTA certificates
  • Create documentation for international orders and work closely with customs brokers
  • Product pack-off, sample and courier processing as required
  • Liaison with service providers including pest control, janitorial, landlord subcontractors and internal subcontractors
  • Create custom labels for customers as required
  • Coordinate tradeshow shipments with marketing and sales as required
  • Coordinate orders and transfers for sales and production on a daily basis
  • Other duties, projects and tasks as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Degree/Diploma in a related field preferred
  • CPG experience in (preferred) food or cosmetics industry shipping domestically and internationally
